PG group took a part in Passion For Freedom competition

Passion for freedom will be held 5th −15th November in the Embassy Tea Gallery in London.

PG group took a part in Passion For Freedom competition and presented art work «Viva Russia!»
PG group was founded in 2000. Today its participants are Ilya Falkovsky, Alexey Katalkin, and Boris Spiridonov. The «PG» abbreviation has been decoded differently depending on certain project: «Criminal Group / Prestupnaya Gruppa», «Antitank Bomb / Protivotankovaya Granata», «Fire Plug / Pozharnyi Gidrant». Young and Provocative artists spread shocking images of Russia today. Protests and radical art works had a success and already included in The State Tretyakov Gallery’s exposition , «PG» — «Kandinsky Prize » laureates of 2008.

The annual festival is a rare collection of works of «courageous artists» who have answered three pivotal questions:
1. What is freedom?
2. How easy is it to lose it?
3. How difficult is it to get it back?

Passion for Freedom is a non-governmental and voluntary organization gathering professionals working in arts and media. Our first edition of non-profit Festival took place in 2009 in London. Over the last 5 years we showed more than 250 artworks from all over the world including such countries as China, Iran or Venezuela (just to mention only few the most afflicted by the regime). PFF supported by world-famous artists such as Ai Weiwei, Mehdi-GeorgesLahlou and Iranian director Jafar Panahi.

This year at the festival there will be collection of 15 films, 10 books, 10 journalists and 54 artworks
from all over the world: Peru, Venezuela, Iran, Israel, Syria, Taiwan, China, South Korea, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Greece, United Kingdom, USA & Australia, Russia.
